Join me in Portugal this fall!

Hello Reader,

Last week, we shared our Portugal Goat Tour with the people who joined the wait list, and yesterday we introduced it to our podcast listeners.

Since the trip is limited to just 12 people, we wanted to start with those groups before sharing it with everyone.

We still have room available, and I wanted to make sure everyone on this list had the opportunity to learn about it.

This fall, I’ll be traveling to Portugal with a small group of goat lovers for a week of visiting goat and sheep farms, cheesemakers, historic villages, wineries, and some of the beautiful countryside that most tourists never get to experience. My friend Janelle, who has lived in Portugal for the past three years, has put together an incredible itinerary, and I’ll be there to share my knowledge of goats every step of the way.

If you’ve ever dreamed of combining your love of goats with international travel, I’d love for you to take a look.

I’ve recorded a webinar that walks through the itinerary, lodging, what’s included, pricing, and answers many of the questions we’ve received.

If the trip sounds like something you’d enjoy, I’d love to have you join us. And if you have any questions after watching the webinar, just hit Reply. I’m happy to help.

I hope you’ll consider joining us!

Deborah

P.S. If you don't want to hear about the Portugal trip again, just click here and we won't send any more emails to you about it.

Hello Reader, Last week, I was in Boise, Idaho, attending Kit’s annual Craft and Commerce conference. It was my 5th time attending since they started seven years ago, and I love going because of the incredible conversations I get to have. But one conversation from last week has been looping in my mind. A man came up to me and confessed that he and his wife dream of homesteading, but they are terrified. He said, “Deborah, there are so many unknowns. What if we spend thousands on fencing,...

Hello Reader, When I envisioned The Antiquity Oaks Reset, I knew it wouldn’t be for everyone. But as I look around at our community, I realize this pond-side sanctuary is calling two very specific groups of people: The Weary Farmer: You love your homestead, but you are exhausted. You can’t relax at home because the to-do list is staring you in the face. You need to get away from your own chores, sit by a different pond, cuddle some goats that aren’t your responsibility, and just breathe for...

Hello Reader, The moment has arrived. The gates are officially open. As of right now, our Kickstarter campaign for The Antiquity Oaks Reset is officially LIVE. You can support us for as little as $5. PLUS, anyone who backs the project at any level in the first 24 hours will get a $20 coupon for any upcoming in-person workshop or retreat in 2026. This includes our monthly 1/2-day meditation retreats, which are normally $45, as well as private cheese or soapmaking classes, which are normally...
