Do you need a break from your own homestead?

Hello Reader,

When I envisioned The Antiquity Oaks Reset, I knew it wouldn’t be for everyone. But as I look around at our community, I realize this pond-side sanctuary is calling two very specific groups of people:

  • The Weary Farmer: You love your homestead, but you are exhausted. You can’t relax at home because the to-do list is staring you in the face. You need to get away from your own chores, sit by a different pond, cuddle some goats that aren’t your responsibility, and just breathe for 48 hours.
  • The Homestead-Curious: You dream of the country life, but you aren’t there yet. You want to feel what it’s really like to wake up to the sound of livestock, sip coffee watching the morning mist on the water, and test-drive the peace of farm life without the lifetime commitment.

Whether you need a total escape from your own farm or a first taste of the dream, we want to build this space for you. But we can only do it together.

How this works (The 3-Step Kickstarter Guide)

If you’ve never used Kickstarter before, it’s just a community crowdfunding tool. It’s entirely risk-free:

  1. You pick a reward today: You choose an experience from $5 to $1000 — like The Quiet Escape (a 1-night stay for $100) or The Goat Soiree ($75).
  2. You aren’t charged yet: Your card is only charged if we reach our $1,500 goal by July 1st. If we don’t hit it, you don’t pay a dime.
  3. You book your dates later: Once the campaign succeeds, our reservation calendar opens up and you get to pick your dates to come visit.

To peace, quiet, and fresh air,

Deborah

P.S. even if you can't make it out to the farm yourself, do you have a city friend who is always asking you about your lifestyle? Or a fellow farmer who is on the edge of burnout? Please forward this email to them!

Hello Reader, If you’ve been following our personal journey here at Antiquity Oaks for a while, you know that this farm has always been a place of production. For 24 years, we’ve worked the land, milked goats, made cheese and soap, and lived deliberately by the rhythms of the seasons. But lately, I’ve been reflecting on something important. The greatest thing this farm ever grew wasn’t our organic food or our handcrafted goat milk soap. It was the profound, restorative healing that happens to...
